Pole2Pole

After over 30 expeditions in 100 countries explorer Johan Ernst Nilson dawns upon his biggest adventure yet, a unique journey still undone and one of the most difficult adventure projects ever attempted - Pole2Pole! This feature film documents Swedish explorer Johan Ernst Nilson, one of the world's leading explorers & visionaries of conservation, on his 20,000-mile mostly carbon-neutral trek from the North Pole to the South Pole. En route Johan visits charities to cover their important work. An incredible 525 days journey across the planet! The expedition starts off with skis on the North Pole on the exact date of Peary's discovery, April 6, and continues with dogsleds, sailing across the Arctic Ocean, biking across North and South America through jungles, deserts and mountains into Patagonia. Johan and his team will then ski and kite, until they reach the other side of the planet; the South Pole. Follow this most adventurous journey!
